Patch 1.22
This patch mainly aims to fix some pretty big issues with the various AI and improve the player experience with the flashlight.
I noticed lots of people not being able to read notes or look at things without being bothered by the flashlight intensity. You can turn off the flashlight, yes, but most people forget this and I don't blame them at all, therefore I felt responsible to come up with a solution, and I did. When you're close to a collider your flashlight will decrease in brightness and when you're not close to anything it returns to its default values.
Please let me know if there are issues with this new system, it might be needing some more calibration.
Patch notes:
-Improved the AI attack.
-Improved AI pathfinding.
-Fixed AI rotation.
-Increased Mother's damage.
-Added some more dynamic criteria to some specific jumpscares. (will be improved in the future)
-Added more random events to the lightswitches. (will be improved in the future)
-Added sounds to flickering lights
-Changed the flashlight button from 'R' to 'F' based on feedback. (Custom control scheme and controller support is planned)
-Added a dynamic flashlight brightness system based on distance.
-Changed a jumpscare to an interactable object that makes the player start the event by interacting with it, the object still has a very low chance of starting the event itself without player input. (this change was made do decrease the information overload of everything happening at once in certain areas of the level)
-Improved the bathroom horror elements and added another part to the washer event.
-Added a new note which hints at the overarching story of the game. (more will be revealed later)
-Increased stamina.
-Increased stamina regeneration.
KNOWN ISSUES:
-When placing an unrelated item at the ritual it cannot be picked up again, thus forcing the player to load from checkpoint.
-Daddy sometimes doesn't do damage but the damage taking animation plays. [FIXED]
EDIT: Mother's damage was broken. It should be fixed now.
